Individual Therapy

Why go to counseling? Why therapy? Life gets busy, life gets complicated, life gets unmanageable.

Sometimes, life beats you up. Sometimes, relationships do not work out. Sometimes, you are left feeling defeated and alone.

Counseling is a place where you can get back in touch with yourself.

Anxiety, depression, loneliness, exhaustion, and the feeling of drowning are all aspects that counseling seeks to heal.

Counseling offers healing. Counseling offers connection. Counseling grows healthy boundaries. Counseling brings wholeness.

I practice from a psychodynamic approach looking to get at the root of what it going on. I use therapeutic modalities like IFS, attachment, psychoanalytic and others.

Couples Counseling

Does it feel like you do not know how to talk to your parter, to connect anymore?

Does it feel like the wounds that have built up in your relationship and healing does not seem impossible?

I believe that healing and reconnection are possible. I have seen couples come back from the brink of divorce.

Healing takes work, and it will not be easy, but it will be worth it.

Couples therapy focuses on the relationship, family dynamics, family of origin, conflict patterns with the hopes of healing. This lens is looks as modalities such as attachment, IFS, psychodynamic,

Realizing where we are is not supposed to bring us guilt and shame, but rather hope of where we get to go.

Teen Therapy

Teens often feel lost, anxious, misunderstood, and depressed. This often comes up as they are learning to understand who they are and who they are becoming.

I have worked with teens in various capacities for the past 10+ years.

Teenagers often feel they do not have a voice or space to process. Therapy provides a place for them to feel safe and secure as they process what is going on in their lives.

I also ask to meet with the parents once a month to get a better understanding of what is going on in the teens life.
